About Us
Build-A-Chair Foundation began as a grassroots Rotary initiative focused on improving the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing them with a wheelchair, and therefore the mobility to live an active, productive life with dignity.Our foundation, Build-A-Chair, is supervised by physiotherapist Shedrack Domingo,
who also serves as Operations Manager.
The need is great, and the investment is small.
Community impact
Our foundation is positively impacting the local community by using local wheelchair technologists to build customized wheelchairs, that fit both the client and the terrain.
The parts are local, the repairs are local. A seamstress helps to make the pressure cushions for the wheelchairs.
We are investing in the community!
